Famagusta
The City Administrative center is established during the British rule creating an administrative axis connecting the Famagusta Old Town inhabited mostly by Turkish Cypriots and Varosha inhabited mostly by Greek Cypriots. The greater area of the administrative center has residential building, parks and inactive industrial buildings.
CONTROVERSY 4: ALLOW FOR A DIVERSITY OF INHABITANTS IN THE CITY CENTER? In contested cities (in conflict) the centers are divided. What if the location and structure of a main city center become more open through the diversity of its inhabitants?
